GTA V Player cheats

Player cheats: invincibility, health, armour, weapons and more

Drunkenness: Drinking may make you feel like a god in the real world, but in GTA 5 it's only going to make you look and play like a fool. It adds a fun new twist to the typical rampage though.
PS3 / PS4 Triangle, Right, Right, Left, Right, Square, O, Left
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Y, Right, Right, Left, Right, X, B, Left

Fast Swimming: Bailed out of a plane without paying attention? If you need to get out of the drink nice and fast, this code will help you get back to shore in a jiffy.
PS3 / PS4 Left, Left, L1, Right, Right, R2, Left, L2, Right
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Left, Left, LB, Right, Right, RT, Left, LT, Right

Fast Running: If you've pulled yourself out of the water and need to continue your sprint on land, fire up the Fast Running cheat code to escape the attentions of the police.
PS3 / PS4 Triangle, Left, Right, Right, L2, L1, Square
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Y, Left, Right, Right, LT, LB, X

Give Parachute: If you find yourself needing this cheat then you've probably left things a little bit late, but if you can enter it quickly enough it can still save your behind. Take our advice and pick one of these up before heading out to go BASE-jumping - it'll all end in tears otherwise (not to mention blood, and assorted flappy bits).
PS3 / PS4 Left ,Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, R2, Left, Left, Right, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, RT, Left, Left, Right, LB

Give Weapons & Ammo: Can't be bothered to make your way to the nearest AmmuNation? In that case, make use of the rapid weapons code. Note only will it give you an arsenal of weapons to play with, it'll also top up your ammo if you've run out halfway through a fight.
PS3 / PS4 Triangle, R2, Left, L1, X ,Right, Triangle, Down, Square, L1, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Y, RT, Left, LB, A, Right, Y, Down, X, LB, LB, LB

Invincibility: If the cheats we've shown you so far aren't quite cheaty enough for you, you can always just activate GTA's God Mode. Nothing on earth can harm you once this code's been activated, so go nuts.
PS3 / PS4 Right, X, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Left, X, Triangle
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Right, A, Right, Left, Right, RB, Right, Left, A, Y

Max Health & Armour: Using these cheat codes will prevent you from earning any more Trophies or Achievements, but if you really can't beat a mission in the game then you can always activate this code to grant your character more armour and health.
PS3 / PS4 O, LT, Triangle, R2, X ,Square, O, Right, Square, L1, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, LB, Y, RT, A, X, B, Right, X, L|B, LB, LB

Super Jump: The name of this cheat code is pretty self-explanatory. Switch it on, then leap up in the air to give yourself a slightly bigger view of the action at hand. You can also use this aerial boost to access spots you're struggling to reach by more traditional methods.
PS3 / PS4 L2, L2, Square, O, O, L2, Square, Square, Left, Right, X
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Left, Left, Y, Y, Right, Right, Left, Right, X, RB, RT

Recharge Special Ability: If you've played through much of the story, you'll have learned that each character can make use of a special skill for a limited amount of time. If you tap this code in quickly, you'll be able to top your special ability all the way up.
PS3 / PS4 X, X, Square, R1, L1, X, Right, Left, X
Xbox 360 / Xbox One A, A, X, RB, LB, A, Right, Left, A

Skyfall: Make sure you're wearing a parachute before mucking around with this cheat, otherwise you'll find yourself sky-high with no safe way back down to earth. A machine gun for when you're floating down is an optional, yet highly recommended accessory.
PS3 / PS4 L1, L2, R1, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, L1, L2, R1, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right
Xbox 360 / Xbox One LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right, LB, LT, RB, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right

Slow-Motion Aiming: Another self-explanatory cheat code is Slow-Motion Aiming. If there's too much heat for you to handle, activate this cheat and give yourself a little more time to pick off all the threats around you.
PS3 / PS4 Square, L2, R1, Triangle, Left, Square, L2, Right, X
Xbox 360 / Xbox One X, LT, RB, Y, Left, X, LT, Right, A

Wanted Level - Raise: If life is just a little too sedentary for your liking, and you want to spice things up nice nad quickly, tap this code in to raise your wanted level by one star each time. It's also a handy way of spawning some of the game's most powerful law enforcement vehicles - assuming you can grab 'em before you die, that is.
PS3 / PS4 R1, R1, O, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RB, RB, B, RT, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right

Wanted Level - Lower: Conversely, if you're finding yourself struggling to fight the police, you can use this code to bring your wanted level down incrementally. Useful if you've made use of the previous code to spawn a police vehicle, and now want to merrily go about your way unmolested.
PS3 / PS4 R1, R1, O, R2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RB, RB, B, RT, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left
Weapon cheats

Explosive Melee Attacks: Activating this code will ensure that all of your melee combat hits pack a particularly powerful punch.
PS3 / PS4 Right, Left, X, Triangle, R1, O, O, O, L2
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Right, Left, A, Y, RB, B, B, B, LT

Explosive Rounds: This cheat is capable of turning even the most primitive pistol into a terrifying display of explosive firepower. An essential addition to anyone's arsenal of cheat codes.
PS3 / PS4 Right, Square, X, Left, R1, R2, Left, Right, Right, L1, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Right, X, A, Left, RB, RT, Left, Right, Right, LB, LB, LB

Flame Rounds: Another way to spice up your combat is to add this fiery effect to all of your bullet shots.
PS3 / PS4 L1, R1, Square, R1, Left, R2, R1, Left, Square, Right, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One LB, RB, X, RB, Left, RT, RB, Left, X, Right, LB, LB

There are only a handful of world-changing cheat codes in the latest Grand Theft Auto - and they're unlikely to give you much of a helping hand - but they're fun enough to mess around with nevertheless. Here's how to switch all of them on, and what you can expect by doing so.
Weather and world cheats

Change weather: The codes below can be used to cycle your way through all of the weather patterns available in GTA 5. There are nine to play with in total, and the next use of the code after the ninth attempt will send you back to the beginning.
PS3 / PS4 R2, X, L1, L1, L2, L2, L2, Square
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RT, A, LB, LB, LT, LT, LT, X

Change gravity: You can use this code to mess around with GTA 5's gravity, and send cars skidding through the air before clattering back down to earth. Handy too if you want your jumps to last a little longer.
PS3 / PS4 Left, Left, L1, R1, L1, Right, Left, L1, Left
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Left, Left, LB, RB, LB, Right, Left, LB, Left

Friction: Turning this code on causes vehicles to start slip-sliding all over the place. Probably an effect that's better observed than experienced directly.
PS3 / PS4 Triangle, R1, R1, Left, R1, L1, R2, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Y, RB, RB, Left, RB, LB, RT, LB

Slow Motion: Just as the name suggests, turning this on will cause time to slow all the way done for absolutely everything and everyone in the GTA 5 sandbox. You can increase the effect of this cheat by applying the code repeatedly - the fifth use of it returns everything back to normal though.
PS3 / PS4 Triangle, Left, Right, Right, Square, R2, R1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Y, Left, Right, Right, X, RT, RB

Sooner or later you're going to do something in GTA 5 that leaves you with a burning need for an escape vehicle. Thankfully, Rockstar has included plenty of cheat codes that let you spawn a vehicle instantly, and escape from whatever trouble you've managed to stumble your way into.
Cars

Caddy: If you've had enough of mowing down innocent pedestrians with a Cadillac, you can always opt for the slower slaughter of the humble golf caddy. Set your sights on something a little faster though if you need to escape the attention of the law.
PS3 / PS4 O, L1, Left, R1, L2, X, R1, L1, O, X
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, LB, Left, RB, LT, A, RB, LB, B, A

Comet: It's not the fastest or the most agile car in the game, but the Comet is a very reliable all-rounder that should help you escape from the sort of anarchic rampage that would leave even Michael Bay wiping away a tear.
PS3 / PS4 R1, O, R2, Right, L1, L2, X, X, Square, R1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RB, B, RT, Right, LB, LT, A, A, X, RB

Rapid GT: One for the Flash Harrys of the world, the Rapid GT may not handle quite as smoothly as the Comet, but it is a smooth little sports number that will help you escape in style.
PS3 / PS4 R2, L1, O, Right, L1, R1, Right, Left, O, R2
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RT, LB, B, Right, LB, RB, Right, Left, B, RT

Stretch Limo: The limousine is yet another vehicle that lets you get the job done in style - albeit a slow sort of style. Less useful in tight spaces, and even less useful if you need to pull a 180 in a hurry.
PS3 / PS4 R2, Right, L2, Left, Left, R1, L1, O, Right
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RT, Right, LT, Left, Left, RB, LB, B, Right

Garbage Truck: If you favour brute force over fashion, why not bring a rubbish truck raining down on some poor pedestrian's head?
PS3 / PS4 Circle, R1, Circle, R1, Left, Left, R1, L1, Circle, Right
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, RB, B, RB, Left, Left, RB, LB, B, Right
Bikes

BMX: The BMX is a pretty tasty escape vehicle if you need to whizz around the narrow alleys of Los Santos, or go off-road and onto the rougher bike tracks of the countryside.
PS3 / PS4 Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, Square, O, Triangle, R1, R2
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Right, X, B,Y, RB, RT

Maibatsu Sanchez: If you need a bike that's all about raw speed then you should probably look elsewhere, but if you need to rip across the rough terrain of the mountain trails then the Sanchez packs plenty of stability.
PS3 / PS4 O, X, L1, O, O, L1, O, R1, R2, L2, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, A, LB, B, B, LB, B, RB, RT, LT, LB, LB

Shitzu PCJ 600:: The PCJ 600 is the go-to bike when you've found yourself in a bit of a pinch. A great mix of solid handling, with plenty of oomph in the engine to get you away from trouble.
PS3 / PS4 R1, Right, Left, Right, R2, Left, Right, Square, Right, L2, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One RB, Right, Left, Right, RT, Left, Right, X, Right, LT, LB, LB
Helicopters and planes

Buzzard: The Buzzard's certainly slick in the air, but it lacks the kind of durability and firepower that's needed to survive a serious firefight. Use it to fly away from danger quickly, but be ready to switch into something a little stronger as soon as you can.
PS3 / PS4 O, O, L1, O, O, O, L1, L2, R1, Triangle, O, Triangle
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, B, LB, B,B,B,LB, LT, RB, Y, B, Y

Duster: This old fashioned plane is just perfect for cruising around the skies in, as you choke any civilians foolish enough to stand downwind of you.
PS3 / PS4 Right, Left, R1, R1, R1, Left, Triangle, Triangle, X, O, L1, L1
Xbox 360 / Xbox One Right, Left, RB, RB, RB, Left, Y, Y, A, B, LB, LB

Stunt Plane: The controls of the stunt plane are particularly fiddly, but if you can find a way of mastering them then you won't find a better vehicle for showing off your aerial flair. It's more agile than the Duster, and a good deal faster too.
PS3 / PS4 O, Right, L1, L2, Left, R1, L1, L1, Left, Left, X, Triangle
Xbox 360 / Xbox One B, Right, LB, LT, Left, RB, LB, LB, Left, Left, A, Y
