UK Driving eyesight requirements

I always thought that one needed good eyesight in order to drive in this country. This morning on the way to work saw a guy driving one of these-

At the very least he must have been vision impaired if not completely friggin blind... has to be the ugliest thing on wheels barring Susan Boyle on a skateboard.

Those are Nissan Cubes the Kaizen has loads of kit in it.

I think they are fantastic little cars would love to get one.

I'd rather see something like this that is a bit different and kind of cute than the sea of cookie cutter cars that litter the roads.
